FrameStory Privacy Policy
FrameStory does not require an account, does not track you across apps or websites, and processes photo editing on your device.
Information we do not collect
- No login, name, email address, password, or social account is required.
- Your imported photos, exported photos, EXIF metadata, edits, and templates are processed locally on your device.
- We do not upload your photos or camera metadata to our servers.
- We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising trackers.
App permissions
- Photo Library: Used to let you select photos, read available EXIF metadata, and save exported images when you choose to save them.
- Camera: Used only if you choose to capture a new photo inside the app. Camera access is not used in the background.
- Notifications: FrameStory does not need notification permission for its core editing workflow.
Analytics and crash reports
FrameStory may use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate product usage, such as app opens, paywall views, template interactions, and export completion. FrameStory may use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and stability issues.
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is not used to track you across other apps or websites and is not linked to a FrameStory account, because FrameStory has no account system.
Purchases
FrameStory offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions, including monthly, yearly, and lifetime Pro options. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription status may be managed through purchase infrastructure such as RevenueCat so the app can unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
Data retention
Photos and project edits remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Analytics and crash diagnostic retention is handled by Firebase according to its platform settings and policies.
Children
FrameStory is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
